Since school's started up, I haven't been able to go birding lately. I've usually just been going birding in the neighborhood and seeing what I can find. Today I've found some house sparrows, house finches, nuthatches, downy woodpecker, robins, and a American kestral. Even though I haven't seen anything interesting lately, I'm planning on doing a big day. I'll start out in the neighborhood. Then I'll head over to Timnath reservoir where there have been reportings of rarities. I'll hopefully then be able to catch a ride down to cattail ponds to find a trumpeter swan sighting. I hope that I'll find a lot of rarities and maybe life listers.
Sincerely,
Omeganook
